Most of the electrical work in a home is the everyday stuff: a kitchen that needs better lighting, an extra socket where there has never been one, outside lights for the drive, a circuit that keeps tripping. We do all of it, and we treat a small job with the same care as a big one. Our reviews bear that out.
Lighting is the part people notice most. We fit downlights, pendants, under-cabinet and plinth lighting in kitchens, LED strips in coves and cabinets, and garden and driveway lighting outside. If you are not sure what you want, we will suggest options and explain the difference in cost and effect before you decide.
Extra sockets, USB sockets, cooker and shower circuits, extractor fans and outdoor power are all routine for us. We chase in and make good tidily, and we match the finish to what is already in the room.
Fault finding is where experience counts. A tripping circuit or a dead socket can have a dozen causes. We test methodically, find the actual fault rather than guessing, and fix it properly. For faults that cannot wait, ring us and we will get to you as soon as we can.
Everything we do is tested and, where required, certified. Ring or send a photo of the problem and we will tell you what the next step is.
Garden and exterior lighting is a big part of our work too: uplit trees, lit paths and pergolas, wall lights and driveways, all on outdoor-rated cable and fittings so it keeps working through the winter.

Do you do small jobs?
Yes. A single socket, a light fitting or a fault is a normal day for us. We would rather do a small job well than turn it away.
Can you fit lights I have bought myself?
Yes, as long as they are safe and suitable for where they are going. We will tell you if there is a problem before we start.
My lights flicker and the trip keeps going. Can you find the cause?
Yes. We test circuit by circuit until we find the fault, then fix it. We explain what it was and whether anything else needs attention.
